SMS Communications Policy

BackShop AI sends SMS messages to two categories of recipients: (a) contractors and business operators who have created a BackShop AI account ("Account Holders"), and (b) end customers of those Account Holders who interact with BackShop AI's platform on behalf of the contractor ("End Customers"). Account Holders receive operational notifications including lead alerts, appointment confirmations, payment updates, and account notices. End Customers receive communications from their contractor through the BackShop AI platform, including appointment reminders, quote links, payment requests, and review requests.

Account Holders opt in to receive SMS messages during onboarding by affirmatively checking a consent box. By checking the box, Account Holders agree to receive SMS messages from BackShop AI at the mobile number they provide. Account Holders are solely responsible for obtaining valid consent from their End Customers before sending SMS messages through the BackShop AI platform, and warrant that all such consent has been obtained in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), applicable state laws, and CTIA guidelines.

Message frequency varies based on account activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier charges for SMS and MMS messages apply as determined by your mobile service provider. BackShop AI is not responsible for carrier charges incurred by recipients.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from BackShop AI. After replying STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. To re-subscribe, reply START or contact support.

BackShop AI SMS messages are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
